It’s A Lifestyle, Not A Job

27 Years Ago My Journey Began

The Flight Attendant Life

Who doesn’t imagine a life of traveling, exotic adventures, romance and all the excitement that goes with air travel? Ok, well that might be more of a Hollywood style perception. But the flight attendant life is still as exciting as it was years ago. The industry has changed, the destinations have grown, and the rules of flying are a little more stringent than what we saw in the “glamorous” days. But to me, this job is just as exciting as ever.

I’ve developed this website so that I can answer all of the questions you might have about this career. The only time flight attendants are mentioned, it seems these days, is when something bad happens on a flight and the media picks up the story. I’m here to tell you that those experiences are far and few between. This lifestyle is still what you make of it. This lifestyle is what you put into it. I’m very passionate about being a flight attendant and I try my best to make every trip an enjoyable one for all of my passengers. Does that mean I work hard? Yes. Does that mean I think about my career 24/7? No. I just find it easy to be nice to people, to bring safety and comfort to my passengers.

Where Do You Want To Go

If you could go anywhere, where would it be? Are you wanting to see International cities? Do you want to travel the world and not have to pay for it? Do you want to go on last-minute trips on a whim and be able to afford it? All of these things you can do in this career. With reduced rate travel, free travel and discounts provided to airline personnel, you literally can leave one day, and return the next. A quick-trip to the west coast for dinner, shopping in New York, laying in the sun on a beach in Miami, or seeing smaller cities within the USA is all possible with this amazing lifestyle.

Ready To Retire?

Are you tired of your current “job” and thinking about retirement? Perhaps you are an empty-nester who now wants to travel and see the world. Think you’re too old? Think again. This career and lifestyle is for people of all ages and all walks of life. You’ve worked hard to raise your family, send them on their way to successful careers, now it’s your turn. I have helped several people in their 50’s and 60’s get into this field, and they loved every minute of it. If you are ready to take the next step on another journey in your life, I strongly suggest looking into this career.

I’d like help getting my foot in the door. I’ve applied for jobs the past two weeks and I’m reading some ppl on Instagram applied 5years before getting job. I’m unmarried with no kids, I’m ready to start asap lol! I fill out a few applications but how long does it usually take for them to contact you back?

    • Who have you applied with, and are they actively hiring? It does take time but all of the major US Carriers will be hiring soon. Keep checking your email and please return to this site as I update it frequently.
