When making reservations for your flights it’s important to remember when traveling through an airline’s major hub that you give yourself plenty of time to make your connection. Many discount websites offer an option of minimizing your connection time. I highly recommend to NOT take that offer. While it may seem a wise decision at the time, you must account for travel delays, mechanicals, weather delays and such. While it may seem like you might get to your destination faster, you actually could end up being stuck longer.
Instead, go through the Airline’s website which allows for the legal connection time that they allow and should anything go wrong, they will be able to assist you better in making your next flight. When you make a reservation through a discount broker, it can be difficult to get the appropriate and immediate help that you need. Save yourself the headache, spend a little extra time in your connecting city and enjoy your trip that much more. Have fun on the journey as well as the destination.
